Vision

Our relationships are restored to both land and sea as we reach across communities and generations to enhance our strength through diversity. It is important for the Maui Nui Makai Network and its members to have the ability to track a common set of measures to know if their efforts are working and to inform the adjustments needed in management if the actions aren’t effective. These indicators were co-generated and designed to be relatively easy to collect, be meaningful at the community-level, and take into account human interactions with nature for improved biocultural and human wellbeing outcomes.
